| These audio files were originally only meant to be as a guide in writing my book. | ||
| It was only after listening to
them again that I realised that other people could sit down with a map and
follow the route that I took. They could then get an idea of what a 41-day trip round the coast of the UK in a mini would be like. There are 9,908 voice recording plus 32 video clips on the two CD set. I did remove some voice recordings as they were not suitable for others to hear. As I said they were not originally intended for other people to hear so there is some swearing going on, in fact a lot of swearing going on. If you know me then you will be accustomed to my language and for those who don't know me I apologise for the bad language. Profits from the sale of these recordings will go towards the new lifeboat, please do not copy them and/or give them to others as this is would only be taking money away from the cause. If you manage to listen to the whole 41 days worth you should give yourself a medal. Try and imagine yourself as the driver and how you would have coped. If you can not listen to the full 41 days (at least one a day) then the chances are you would not be able to have made the run I have to say I loved it and at no point (except for on the recordings) did I want to end the run and go home. I loved driving the mini, I spent 4 nights at home, two nights in a tent, one night in B&B and 30 nights in the mini, and six nights staying with friends and people on the run. So if you are planning a round the UK trip it would do you no harm listening to all 41 days. These voice recordings are in .WMA format and will only play on a computer. They will NOT play on a normal CD player. |
